At The Cliff, we are looking ahead with real anticipation to hosting our first Cliff Creator Residency from April 27 to 30.
What makes this especially meaningful is the level and quality of interest it received. We reviewed more than 300 submissions from creators across Jamaica, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and as far away as Brazil. That kind of response tells us something important: thoughtful creators are still seeking places with beauty, atmosphere, and a genuine sense of place.
This residency was designed to be small and selective. It is not a press trip and it is not a fam trip. It is a more intentional invitation for visually fluent creators working in lifestyle, travel, wellness, and hospitality to spend time at The Cliff and create work that feels natural, elevated, and authentic. This residency is an opportunity to create freely, enjoy a calm and visually rich environment, and produce a full Proof of Place shoot.
What excites me most is not only what will be created during these days, but what this represents for the future. Hospitality today is shaped not only by service and setting, but by story, atmosphere, and the ability to help a place be understood in a deeper way. The right creators do more than capture images. They reveal character. They help express what makes a destination memorable, distinctive, and worth seeking out. When that work is done with honesty and taste, it creates not just attention, but a lasting connection.
We are honored to welcome this first group of visionary talents in April, and we are equally excited that this is only the beginning. The Cliff Creator Residency is being established as a semiannual initiative, and we already look forward to the next gathering of this special creative community this fall.
